What does a full service design mean?

We develop design for one room, or entire homes turn-key .

Do you ever work with clients outside the greater Houston area?

Yes we do!

We have completed projects in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Indiana and Texas Hill Country. 

Can I use my existing furniture and artwork?

Yes!!

We love to curate your antiques, unique art collections, or treasured family heirlooms in to our designs. 

Mixing old and new or incorporating a unique collection in to our designs gives a feeling of a lived in space .

Please note that sometimes we will not be able to include all of the collections or items due to size or other reasons. We strive to create a unique design for your space, one that is intentional and also in line with ADI esthetics.

What is the average cost of furnishings per room designed by ADI?

Our completely furnished rooms start at 25,000 - 85,000 

This number will greatly depend on a size and function of space.

For example living rooms tend to cost far more than bedrooms and we try to utilize the given budget by mixing high and low for the best results and impact.

What does to the trade means ?

“Trade” refers to Designers/Business owners that have access to a quality vendors and products that aren’t available to the greater public.

Big box furniture stores are all considered retail.

How involved will I have to be during the design process?

Prior to starting to design your project we will conduct an extensive consultation in which we will ask numerous questions to discover your aesthetic, goals, lifestyle, and budget.

Based on this information we then develop design which we present to you and ask for your feedback.

After we get your approval for design and budget proposals we ask you to trust us, and allow us to use our knowledge, professional expertise, and creativity to apply to your design  which ensures the success of design project, as well as delivering you a beautiful new space.

We strive to make a whole process as fun and enjoyable as possible and we value our clients ideas and input .

How early on should I reach out for my new build or renovation project ?

As soon as you’re decided to renovate or build.

Our input can be invaluable and sometimes crucial for the success of a project.

We will work with your Architect or GC in the conceptual stage to ensure that new plans meet all of your need and expectations. We take into the consideration the whole picture and we implement information gathered in our initial consultation to ensure that these aspects are included in your floor plans and instructions for GC.

How long does it take to develop a design 

A great design takes time to be developed.

We go to great lengths to do our research based on information gathered in our meetings, and we strive to create something new and unique for you. After all that is why you hired us in the first place.

To design a single room it takes about ten working days, if we’re designing a whole home it may take up to six weeks to have a complete design outline for every single space.

How long will it take to complete the project ?

Renovations and New Build take time and a lot of patience. It’s safe to say a minimum 6 to 18 months.

Decorating one single space typically takes about four months once we have our designs approved by you.

What is trade discount ?

We purchase furnishings for our projects from our trusted vendors at trade pricing just as any retail business. We get trade pricing since we by at volume from them, and we resell  furnishings to our clients at competitive below retail prices .

What that means is in order to successfully execute our design project we require our clients commitment to purchase goods and furnishings through ADI .

This is the only way we can control the outcome,that we will be able to guarantee on our promise of quality and excellence that will align with our company core value.

Is there a minimum investment for your services ?

Yes,aside from the design fee we have a minimum investment for each project which varies depending on a scope of work.

Will I have the opportunity to sit on the furniture before I commit to buying?

In the early stages of the design project we go to great length to discover your unique preferences,weather that is the comfort level of seat cushions of your favorite sofa or armchair, or the preferred height of the armrest/seat and so on. This information helps us design and curate a perfect seating furnishings for your project.

In some instances we will be able to arrange a quick visit to our vendor showroom, provided there is one in our area, and in some instances we ask you to relay on our professional expertise and our commitment to excellence.

How will I know that you are a right fit for my project?

This is one of the most important aspects for the success of the design project.

After years of working in the field we understand that we need to develop a design process that will ensure that we cultivate great and stress free relationships with our clients so that the whole project is enjoyable and the outcome is  successful.

We begin our process with complementary 30 min phone consultation that follows with 90 min in home consultation in which we cover numerous aspects, ask questions extensively to learn as much as possible about you, and your project.

At this time we also talk about our firm, our process and what to expect.

This way we are both educating ourselves about each other so we are able to come to conclusion if we will be able to get along and stayed happily “married“ for months to come . 

Do you offer complementary consultation?

We offer a 30 min phone consultation, our in person initial consultation is a paid consultation. 

What is to expect on move in/ installation day?

By the time we contact you to schedule installation day we’ve completed installation of millwork, custom built-ins, drapery, and wallpaper.

Next step is for furnishings, artwork, and accessories to be delivered from our warehouse and installed .

We kindly ask our clients if at all possible to make arrangements for themselves and their pets to spend this time elsewhere since there is going to be a lot of commotion.

At this time your home may not be the most pleasant place to be, and our team will be able to work faster and more efficiently this way .

Our complete home projects do take about 2-3 days to be completely done in this phase, while a single room makeover just a good portion of a day.
