Our Project: Rice University Bungalow

Hello friends, finally I have a moment to catch up on my writing,

We’ve been so busy finishing up our ongoing projects but now I’d like to take the opportunity to share some of the best moments with you.

Here are a few beautiful snippets from our Rice University bungalow project located right here, in Houston.

Our objection was to bring out the quality and beauty of this gorgeous home and our client’s amazing antique furnishings while also incorporating contemporary details .

We designed custom swivel armchairs in a durable fabric that fits perfectly in the home of large family, and by adding a beautiful  trimmed detail we were able to make elegant and fitting with the rest of the decor .

Our clients love of France and the Provence is reflected in their dining room

I felt as though this room should be enveloped in a gorgeous wallpaper, and we found a perfect one at JP Baker.

Perfect color and whimsical pattern reminiscing of a past time, with continuation of same color scheme from formal living. The emphasis on chinoiserie was important to our client to be depicteded throughout the home as our clients husband is of Korean origin and there are numerous stunning heirloom pieces throughout their home that we included in our design.

In a family room we decided to play with more casual look by adding linen embroidered drapes with cherry blossom pattern as an ode to Far East heritage and pairing it with beautiful antique pieces.

The result is amazing, layered, unique look.

Our clients could not be happier!

Stay tuned for more, cheers Tatiana!
