Meet the Designer

Today we talking about one of the most daring designers that I had the opportunity to meet Jonathan Adler. He started his design career in a quite unconventional way; designing ceramics, which led him to design home furnishings. He sold his first pottery collection to Barney’s in 1993. Selling his pottery collection made his recognizably bold, colorful, geometric designs unstoppable in the design world.

Adler’s recent project has been featured in latest issue of Elle Decor, one of my favorite spaces from this issue, a beach inspired dining room he designed for his good friend and fellow designer, Lis Lange. In keeping with his signature bold style Adler masterfully mixes several different patterns and textures . The result is a beautiful airy and bright space that feels welcoming and relaxed.
